GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that defenseman Cullen Eddy has been loaned to the team by the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League.
The rookie blueliner has appeared in nine games with the Road Warriors and has recorded four points (1G, 3A), a plus-4 rating, and 14 penalty minutes. The 22-year-old from Hidden Valley, PA scored his first professional goal with the Road Warriors on October 29 against South Carolina. The goal turned out to be the game winner for the Road Warriors. Eddy was recalled by Adirondack from his loan to Greenville on November 19.
Eddy has appeared in four AHL games this season with the Phantoms. He registered his first AHL point, an assist, on November 17, one day before his 22nd birthday, in Charlotte against the Checkers. With the Phantoms Eddy has one assist, an even plus/minus rating, and seven penalty minutes.
