GREENVILLE GOES BETWEEN THE PIPES 

GREENVILLE, SC The Greenville Road Warriors ECHL hockey club announced today that “Between the Pipes,” an hour-long radio show on ESPN Radio 1440, will air for the first time on Monday, October 10, 2011 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

“Between the Pipes” will broadcast live from Ford’s Oyster House and Cajun Kitchen, 631 S. Main St. Downtown Greenville, every Monday during the season from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Fans can expect the show to deliver all the excitement of Road Warriors hockey with prize giveaways, behind-the-scenes insight about the team, and a chance to enjoy the great food at Ford’s. If you can’t make it to the show in person, you can catch it live on ESPN Radio 1440 AM.

“Between the Pipes” is hosted by “Radio” Ray Schmitt, the broadcast voice of the Greenville Road Warriors. Head Coach Dean Stork will join “Radio Ray” each week as the co-host and there will be Road Warriors players as guests on the show throughout the season. Fans will be able to interact with the hosts and guests, too! “We would like to thank Ford’s Oyster House and Cajun Kitchen, and ESPN Radio 1440 for partnering with us on ‘Between the Pipes.’ They have made it possible for us to provide our great fans with a unique and exciting way to be a part of Road Warriors hockey this season,” said Road Warriors president and general manager Neil Smith.

Mark your calendars! The Road Warriors open the season at the BI-LO Center on October 14 at 7:35 p.m. against the Wheeling Nailers. Don’t miss a minute of action with the Road Warriors this season! 2011-12 season ticket packages and half-season ticket packages are on sale right now.
