GREENVILLE, SC – Coach Dean Stork is an experienced builder. In Cincinnati, he helped to build a Kelly Cup Champion. Here in Greenville, he’s built back-to-back playoff teams. But after spending the morning with Habitat for Humanity of Greenville’s finest, he realized he’s got a long way to go to catch them.

Road WarriorsHead Coach Dean Stork was among the crowd gathered to watch the dedication of the 300th home built by Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County. Following a ceremony, coach Stork toured the house and met with several key members of Habitat for Humanity team.   “I am very fortunate to be able to coach and live in the beautiful city of Greenville,” said Stork after touring the three bedroom home. “Habitat for Humanity has done so much for the area and I’m just proud to be able witness this great accomplishment and call myself a resident of Greenville.”

Also present was Road Warriors’ Community Relations manager Katy Grindstaff, who was equally impressed with Habitat for Humanity’s achievement. “To see the look on the faces of the family, it was truly a heartwarming experience for everyone here,” said Grindstaff after seeing Fowler family, who was presented the key to the home during the ceremony. “When you think that Habitat for Humanity of Greenville has done this 299 times before this, you realize that you can’t possibly say enough about the impact they’ve had on the Greenville community. We’re just proud we could be a part of it this time, and hope we can do more in the future.”
