During his rookie season, Rimmer was recognized on the CHL’s All-Rookie Team, playing 39 games for the Quad City Mallards in 2013-14.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound goalie is a product of the WHL, playing for the Brandon Wheat Kings, Prince George Cougars, Tri-City Americans, and Lethbridge Hurricanes from 2009 to 2013.
