Greenville racks up nine goals in previous two games on the road as team preps for visit to Manchester

TIME TO HIT THE ROAD
The Greenville Swamp Rabbits (1-2-1-0), proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack, hit the ice in North Charleston, SC and Glens Falls, NY and recorded nine goals in the first half of a four-game road trip. For the second week in a row, the Swamp Rabbits utilized a high-powered offensive attack and tallied a combined 64 shots on net in the two contests. Fourteen different skaters for Greenville notched a point and the Swamp Rabbits were paced by Dawson Leedahl and Allan McPherson. The two forwards each earned four points in the first two games of this road trip. Goaltender Brandon Halverson notched Greenville’s first win of the season, making 36 saves against the Thunder last night.

Greenville’s rookie forward burst out on Tuesday night in Adirondack, earning his first two goals in pro hockey. Leedahl has earned five points (2G, 3A) in four games this season and is fourth on the Swamp Rabbits in scoring. The Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native trails the league leader among rookies by only one point.
RABBIT TAILS
- Adam Chapie leads Greenville in scoring and is tied for second in the ECHL with eight points (3G, 5A) in the first four games of the season.
- The Swamp Rabbits are first in the ECHL with the extra man, notching a goal on 40% of their power play chances this season.
- Greenville has scored two power play goals in each of the first four games this year (8-for-20).
- After scoring six goals against Adirondack, the Swamp Rabbits are tied for second in the ECHL, averaging 4.75 goals per game.
- In all four games this season, Greenville has scored first.
