JEAN RATELLE NIGHT PRESENTED BY CHASE
Ratelle is the ninth player to have his jersey number retired by the Rangers

NEW YORK, February 21, 2018 – On Sunday, February 25, the Rangers will hold Jean Ratelle Night, Presented by Chase. Ratelle’s No. 19 jersey will be raised to the Madison Square Garden rafters, as he will become the ninth player in franchise history to receive the honor.
On February 25, fans can begin to enter Madison Square Garden at 5:00 p.m., and the banner raising ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. In addition, the start time for the Rangers’ contest against the Detroit Red Wings will be 7:30 p.m.
As part of this special evening, all fans in attendance will receive a replica Jean Ratelle No. 19 banner, presented by Chase. All attendees who enter Madison Square Garden between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.* will automatically be entered into a contest to win one of 19 commemorative “Ratelle Night” warm-up pucks signed by Jean Ratelle. In addition, ’47 Brand is presenting an opportunity for fans to meet Rangers Alumni Brian Mullen and Darren Langdon, who both wore No. 19 during their tenure with the Blueshirts, in the MSG Team Store at Section 114 from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to receive autographs from Mullen and Langdon during this time.
