CRAWFORD: WOLF PACK ANNOUNCE ROSTER MOVES

HARTFORD, November 19, 2018:  Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Chris Drury today announced three Wolf Pack roster changes.

The Wolf Pack have recalled forward Shawn St. Amant from their ECHL affiliate, the Maine Mariners, and have signed forward Terrence Wallin to a Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement.  Also, the parent New York Rangers have reassigned forward Ty Ronning from the Wolf Pack to Maine.

St. Amant, who was signed to an AHL contract by the Wolf Pack October 1, has skated in seven games with the Wolf Pack this season, registering one assist and six penalty minutes.  Since being loaned to the Mariners October 31, the third-year pro has four goals and three assists for seven points, plus four PIM.

Wallin, a 26-year-old fourth-year pro out of U. Mass-Lowell, is currently second on the Maine squad in points and assists, with 3-7-10 in 13 games.  The 6-0, 181-pounder logged four AHL games last season with the Binghamton Devils, in which he was scoreless and +1, and registered 21 goals and 29 assists for 50 points in 59 games with the ECHL’s Adirondack Thunder.  Those numbers were good for second on the club in goals, third in assists and fourth in points.

In 146 career ECHL games, with the Mariners, Thunder and Rapid City Rush, Wallin, a native of Yardley, Pennsylvania, has 40 goals and 62 assists for 102 points, along with 98 penalty minutes.

Ronning, a rookie out of the Western Hockey League and a seventh-round draft pick by the Rangers in 2016, has suited up for eight games with the Wolf Pack this season, posting one goal and two penalty minutes.

The Wolf Pack’s next action is this Wednesday night, November 21 at the XL Center, a 7:00 PM meeting with the Providence Bruins.  That is another chance to take advantage of the Wolf Pack’s “Click It or Ticket Family Value Pack”, which includes two tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas, all for just $40.
