CANTLON: ST. AMANT LEAVES HARTFORD FOR FT. WAYNE

By: Gerry Cantlon, Howlings

HARTFORD, CT – Shawn St. Amant, a Hartford Wolf Pack right-winger last season, becomes the 14th player from that team to sign elsewhere.

The Terrebonne, Quebec-native, has signed an ECHL deal with the Ft. Wayne Komets. He will attend the AHL Ontario Reign’s training camp.

St. Amant had a strong training camp last fall for Hartford, but fizzled out in the regular season and was sent to the team’s ECHL affiliate, the Maine Mariners, for seven games before being recalled.
