NWHL NEWS: ISOBEL CUP TO TRAVEL OVER 10,000 MILES THIS SUMMER
Fans Can Track the Isobel Cup on Twitter Using #WheresIsobel

The Cup began its journey with a trip to Anchorage, AK, with Zoe Hickel and other members of the US National Team for a local showcase and youth clinic from June 7-10th. It then traveled to Sun Valley, ID, with Hilary Knight before returning to Boston, MA.
The Isobel Cup is also currently scheduled to travel to Warroad, MN, with Gigi Marvin in early July, and to Raleigh, NC, with Alyssa Gagliardi in late July for a youth hockey event.
The Cup received its name from Lord Frederick Arthur Stanley’s daughter, Isobel, who shared his love of the game. The sterling silver Cup stands at 25 1/2″ tall, 12″ wide, and weighs 15 pounds.

About the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL)
The NWHL is the first professional women’s hockey league in North America to pay its players. The inaugural season began October 11, 2015, with the Founding Four: Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale and New York Riveters. The Boston Pride became the first team in NWHL history to raise the Isobel Cup on March 12, 2016.
