ESTERO, FL – The Greenville Road Warriors begin a seven-game road trip tonight with their first visit of the season to Germain Arena to take on the Florida Everblades.
The Road Warriors (7-5-0) visit Florida (6-7-1) tonight for the fourth of 11 scheduled meetings between the clubs. Fans can follow the action by watching live on America One or listening at www.greenvilleroadwarriors.com.
The Road Warriors are 2-1-0 this season against Florida but dropped the most recent meeting by a 5-2 score on November 5 in Greenville. Tonight is Greenville’s first of five games at Germain Arena this season, and the Road Warriors are looking to continue their success in Florida from last season. In their inaugural campaign, the Road Warriors were 5-1-2 in games at Florida. Greenville and Florida are two of the hottest teams going in the ECHL right now. The Road Warriors bring a three game winning streak into the contest and have won seven of their last nine overall. Florida, meanwhile, has won four of its last five including taking two of three games from the Wheeling Nailers, who have the best win percentage in the conference, last weekend.
