The Blueshirts currently sit atop the Eastern Conference standings, and rank second in the league overall, with a record of 48-21-7 (103 pts.). The Rangers enter the contest having defeated the Minnesota Wild, 3-2, last night at Xcel Energy Center, and have won four of the last five games. The Jets enter the contest with a 35-33-8 (78 pts.) record to rank 10th in the Eastern Conference, and have lost four of the last five games.
