Greenville, SC The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers and AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack, announced today in conjunction with the ECHL that forward Caleb Herbert has been named the AMI Graphics / ECHL Plus Performer of the Month for November after leading the league with a plus-minus rating of +12.

Herbert, 26, posted an even or better rating in nine of 13 games during the month and was plus-3 in three games (Nov. 7 at ORL, Nov. 18 at SC, and Nov. 30 vs. FLA). The Bloomington, Minnesota native leads the league with an overall plus-minus rating of +17 in 19 games.

The fourth-year center is also atop the ECHL scoring race with 31 points (13G, 18A) and is tied for the league lead with 13 goals and 18 assists. Herbert has posted at least one point in all but one game this season and currently holds a league-best nine-game point streak on home ice.

Herbert has notched 81 points (46G, 35A) in 89 career ECHL games with Greenville, Idaho, and South Carolina, adding 20 points (10g-10a) in 80 career American Hockey League games with Texas and Hershey.

Prior to turning pro in 2014, Herbert played three seasons at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Herbert led his club in his junior season and posted 89 points (32G, 57A) in 112 career games with the Bulldogs.

In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI Graphics will present Herbert with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Swamp Rabbits’ home game.

Herbert and the Swamp Rabbits take the ice tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, facing the Orlando Solar Bears for the fifth time this season.
